My debut poetry collection Alright, Girl? has just been published by Burning Eye Books, so I’m celebrating with a launch event at The Roebuck. Feels special to do it there as that was where I cut my teeth on the open mic and as resident female poet at Bang Said The Gun many moons ago πŸŽ‰

Alright, Girl? book launch on Wednesday 8 April

I’ll read some poems from the book (obvs) and have copies for sale, and I’ll also be joined by the wonderful Molly Naylor and Laurie Bolger! We’ll start at around 8pm, and I might even have a few bowls of crisps out if you’re lucky.

Here’s the Facebook event if you fancy giving it a share! See you there, babes xx

P.S. If you can’t wait that long, signed copies of the book are available here, alongside copies of my play-texts πŸ“š

“Flawless. An essential read for the 2020s.” Salena Godden

Extremely personal yet highly relatable, ‘Alright, Girl?’ is a frank exploration of class, gender and belonging. Full of heart and humour, these poems chart the familiarity of old man pubs, the heartbreak of loss, the miracle of love and the inescapable bonds of female friendship.
