I’m a poet, storyteller, and actor, with over a decade’s worth of experience in delivering workshops. These have ranged from preschool story-building sessions right through to adult non-formal poetry workshops. I’m available for school bookings and any other creative writing-based activities that you might have in mind.

School bookings include all Key Stages in drama, creative writing, poetry, storytelling, SLAM, and more. I can also perform in assemblies, participate in Q+A sessions, and compère school performances.

Example workshops include Writing to Form, Performing Your Work, Character Development, Identity, Home, Using the Senses, Reimagining Fairy Tales, Shakespeare, and loads more!

My style is contemporary and warm. I thrive on building people’s confidence and introducing the routes into creative writing that break many of the pre-existing barriers. I also strive to create a safe space for participants to express themselves and am always excited to see their ideas begin to develop.

I also have experience working with SEN children and in specialised environments such as mental health units, hospitals, prisons, and PRUs. I particularly specialise in the themes of body image, gender, class, and belonging.
